Understanding your usage
A usage percentage belongs to a specific account and time window. Check the label, reset time and collection status together.
Contact support5-hour window
A short usage window, where the provider exposes one. Read the reset information next to that particular limit.
7-day window
A separate weekly limit. Its percentage and reset time can differ from the short window for the same account.
Read a usage row
- Confirm the provider account. Use the account guide if several accounts share a provider.
- Read the period label. A 5-hour value and a 7-day value describe different limits; do not add their percentages together.
- Check the reset information reported for that window. Providers use different schedules; a weekly window does not necessarily reset on Monday.
- Check collection status before relying on the number. A delayed reading may not yet include your most recent activity.
Zero, missing and delayed are different
0%: a usable reading reports zero at the displayed precision for that window. It does not describe every account or every period.
No data: no usable reading is available. This does not mean zero usage.
Delayed collection: the latest reading may be older than your recent activity. Check your browser connection and the provider’s own usage page.
What you should know: which account and limit a value describes, when that limit resets, and whether the reading is current enough to use.
Usage, quotas and costs
Usage is the amount consumed. A quota is the allowance or limit imposed by the provider. Cost is a money amount when exposed by the service. A percentage is not a price and does not automatically tell you how many prompts remain.
Numbers still missing or unexpected?
